Dieng Plateau

I know I should post every monday and thursday, sorry for being late 😊🙏 I was so tired from Dieng Trip. So, I would tell you the story now.

It was not like any other my weekend trip activity, since this was my first experience of hiking hill. I went to one of the famous plateau in Central Java, Indonesia, called Dieng. It was an adventure trip for us.

All of us were 8 persons, 3 man and 5 woman. We left on Saturday after office hours, so it was around 2 p.m. it was a long journey. Normally, it was 5 hours driving. Anyway, we stopped in some places to fill the fuel, buy some snacks etc. It was around 5 p.m. we got hungry, so we stop by in a small village for having meal.

That’s our wefie of the day hahahaha..

After having our meal, we continued the journey. The road was bumpy and foggy.

We arived in our homestay around 7.30 p.m. it was just a plain house in the foothill of Dieng Plateau. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and kithchen. The owner was kind and sweet. We took a bath as soon as we arived while some of us were cooking rice and preparing dinner.

The owner prepared a burning charcoal for us so that we could warm up our body, because it’s really cold there.

Look at us 😂😂😂 all in thick jackets hahahaha.. Well, the water was very cold like ice. Our beds were cold, the floor was cold too, everything was cold, except the burning charcoal of course hahahaha..

That night we slept in cold. I couldn’t sleep, I was frosting but I need to sleep because we have to wake up at 2 a.m. to see the golden sun rise.
